None of us will ever forget this Summer Semester 2020.
Was it bad? I don’t think so.
From the very beginning in all the Departments where I have been teaching, of course on line, I tried to make my students focus on the opportunities, rather than the difficulties, that this unusual condition was offering to us, in order to consider that “different” doesn’t mean necessarily bad.
In fact It was different and challenging, and my goal was finding a way to get the best out of it.
It was surprising to discover how many Countries, where my students where staying, I was able to reach this semester from my desk. Most of my students were in their home Country and it was special to have this virtual classes where we could still be in contact and work all together.
At the end of all my courses I asked to all my students what they achieved from these journeys. This is my class of singers, and they did great!
It was a pleasure sharing this unusual, different, challenging journey with all of you.
